No Child Left Inside ~ Infographically Insightful

A big part of being an environmental educator is the push and desire to get kids outside.  The reasons are many, but mainly to make sure they're not living as in indoor couch potato (or "couch couscous," as I like to call it), and not falling victim to "Nature Deficit Disorder."  It was one of the best parts of our recent fun-filled, outdoor-eco day with our school visit from Grace Episcopal Day School.

Here's a wonderful infographic that I found on Pinterest  (and pinned to my GTG "Eco-Mania" Board) that does an excellent job of helping us all visualize the importance AND health benefits of getting our youngsters outdoors!
