A Teaching Treasure Chest: EduGems

I have probably mentioned a time or two that Eric Curts' Control-Alt-Achieve website is one of my top go-to edtech websites. I've watched a ton of his videos and I got the opportunity to attend a session of his when I went to FETC 2025. He's such a good teacher who easily describes anything he teaches in an easy-to-understand manner.

He has created a whole website wonderland called EduGems. Using Gemini Gems, he has created a mecca of teacher time savers. I've played with a few and am completely in love with the creativity that both Gemini and these EduGems offer. Some of my favorites so far (and I've just barely scratched the surface) include Staff Superhero & Career Caricature.

Playing around, I easily created this one using the Google Classroom Header:

In the video (which he created less than a year ago), Eric mentions having around 40 EduGems. I just did a quick count, and he's already more than tripled that with 145 EduGems on his site! What a wealth of teacher timesavers for the year ahead! Gems & treasures indeed!! Go forth, create, have fun, and explore EduGems!!
